"A Magician of the Guitar" -- Nord Éclair
ONE NIGHT ONLY - French Guitarist Philippe Villa
Friday, October 26, 2007 at 8:00 p.m.
This French guitarist is as much a poet as a virtuoso. His
performances regularly delight audiences with his rare elegance,
subtlety and refined taste. A specialist in early 19th-Century
Romantic guitar music, he'll offer a program consisting of music from
that period by Coste, Giuliani and others.
"Villa knew how to communicate his passion and his love for the
beautiful through his strong intensity and deep sensitivity." Les
Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace.
