Wow, he was 68? When did these actors I grew up with get to be that age? I
sure haven't aged.

It sure goes fast, don't it? Count your blessings every day. And I
have to remind myself of that sometimes too!

Well lets see, Roger Moore, Leslie Neilsen, and Richard Anderson all
over 80, Alan Alda and most of the still living MASH cast in their 70s
The first 007 is 77, Robert Duvall, Gene Hackman well into the 70s.
Need I go on?

I'll be 58 in June--- and like Roxie Hart, am older than I ever thought
I would be. I wasn't surprised by Groh's age.

I'd marry my wife again. Feb 17 was our anniversary. We're now in our
22nd year.

I once saw a report that stated if my mother died at a young age (she
was only 44 in 1968)and if I have a pot belly, (which I did/do), I might
die at the same age, well I'm still here. True while I'm overweight
I do take better care of myself then she did.

Oh honey, you don't know!

You start to feel "old" when:

You notice the sign for purchasing liquor and or cigarettes states one
must have been born in or before 1989.

Strolling though NYU, or any college campus area and it dawns upon you
that those students weren't even a notion when you were in college.

When visiting your home town and bump into someone you swear you knew in
high school, and ask is "so and so your sister?", only to find out that
person is their mother or worse, grand-mother.

Watching "vintage" films shot in New York City, such as Good-bye Girl,
realising you knew what was the area "back then" all too well.

Day when service people stop addressing you as "young man/lady" or
"miss" and substitute "Sir" or "Ma'am"

Finally the clincher: After taking a shower and drying off, you begin to
tug at lint stuck "there", only to realise (rather painfully) it isn't
lint! *LOL*

As the song goes:

First your another sloe eyed vamp, then someone's mother, then your
camp!

*LOL*

You recall when United Artists started Premiere Showcase
You saw Its a bird, Its a plane etc
Better yet you saw the old Superman shows first run.
