Yeah, I was just going to post this, having just noticed it. I'll keep it on
as I answer the day's e-mails, and perhaps offer a post or two here.

As I've posted in the past, I was never much of a fan of the movie, however,
as I like my monsters played as monsters and not comic buffoons, and despite
being a huge fan of Teri Garr, who (I must be the last to have learned) has
MS.

Hey, hey, hey! We've had this discussion before.

What makes the A&C movie so great (one of their best; "Invisible Man" is
also quite good) is the monsters were decidedly NOT played as buffoons
(except in one out-of-place scene where the Frankenstein monster recoils in
fright at seeing Lou).

Fun film all the A&C stuff is there but the monsters are played more
serious. Last time we see the WOLFMAN, funny thing wasn't he cured in
"House of Dracula"? BTW someone wrote a sequel called "Return of the
Wolfman" which takes place right after the above.
That never did make sense how Drac and Wolfey could have died from a
fall as they're immortals.

Trivia question who was the voice of the "Invisible Man" at the end of
A&C meet Frank? Clue he played the role in the sequel "The Invisible Man
Returns"

I found that totally believable. Nathan Lane should do the remake.

Naw, that was silliness; took me right out of the movie -- unlike Lou's
later line when Larry Talbot indicates he's going to turn into a wolf that
night and Lou observes, "Yeah, you and three hundred other guys!"

Ah, a line funny enough for Jeff Douglas. BFS.
