Those of us on the 'wrong' coast haven't been getting any updated info
regarding the show. Heck, I've already bought my opening night tickets
so I'll be there regardless but I was hoping that some of you 'in the
know' folks had some updated info you could share about the
production!
Gossip is ok, too. hehehehhee
Thanks.

Which coast are you saying is the 'wrong' coast? Dancing in the Dark,
last time I checked, is on the west coast.
If it's any consolation, New York's seen the premiere, here in 2008,
of many musicals: Passing Strange, Wanda's World, The Adding Machine,
Next To Normal, The Blue Flower, In the Heights and The Slug Bearers
of Kayrol Island or, The Friends of Dr. Rushower. None based on
movies and none generating a peep here on this board. |

There was at least one small peep last April 19. I said then:

"Noel" == Robert Bouton. I really enjoyed "In the Heights". I'll admit
that I wouldn't have seen if not for the fact that my daughter had been
working on the show.

And now it's moving to Broadway? |

Sorry for the confusion. I should have clarified. I am on the east
coast which is why it's the 'wrong' coast for ferreting out info,
mining morsels, digging up nuggets on the this particular production.
Putting one's ear to the ground in NY will rarely help you learn
things about the going on in San Diego . I was hoping that a
'local' could share what they've heard!
