Highlights of Cunliffe's illustrious career include:
- Winning the Philadelphia Jazz Composer competition in 2005
- Touring with many legends of jazz, including, Ray Brown, Joe
Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson, James Moody, and Joshua
Redman.
- Charting in nationwide jazz polls with his first three albums,
including the highly regarded "Bill in Brazil" which he recorded
during a stint in Rio De Janeiro.
- Writing extensively for television, and his music was recently heard
in the Miramax feature "Comic Book-The Movie." Susan Sarandon's "The
Banger Sisters," and James Caan's show "Las Vegas."
Popular with Southern California audiences, he regularly performs with
his trio, and group Imaginacion. In addition, he can be heard
performing jazz duets with the great jazz flutist Holly Hoffman!
