I have about 1500 karaoke files on my laptop. They are cdg+mp3 files.
They play perfectly with PCDJ-KJ, and Swift ultralite. I have put them
onto CDR disks but find they don.t play in a Karaoke machine. Would
this item on eBay play them?

on the disks I get 2 files, one is a CDG for the lyrics, and one is a
MP3 for the music. Do these karaoke players play the 2 together or do I
have to rewrite them in some other way? If so what sort of drive do I
need? Please conside rmy budget is very limited and I am using a
Latitude C640 I do not have a desktop. I only have a CD drive, and a
DVD drive for my laptop. I can get a DVDRW drive for it though.

No it won't play them. You need to take the MP3+G files and convert them
back to Bin then burn them back to a CD as a complete CDG file. You will
also need a drive in your computer to handle the CDG format files
properly so the machine can read them.
As far as I know right now there are no players that will play the MP3+G
format data disks.
