There is a good amount of suspicion that Sissel's Northern Lights
might be in the list of 'Top 10 New Age Music of 2007' (yet to come in
Newagevibe). Sissel kyrkjebo, a norwegian singer, binds you still with
her excellent performance and distinct vocal. I can't forget her
wondrous soundtrack in Titanic, her popular 1994 Winter Olympics
performance and the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Though she is often compared with Celtic vocalist Enya, Sissel has a
unique voice which fits Old classical melodies to Traditional folk,
Modern jazz to Hip-Hop, Pop to Punk and New age to Operatic arias.

She joins with an Opera singer Jose Carreras in Northern Lights which
is originally broadcasted on PBS. If you haven't tried Sissel yet then
this album is a perfect choice to start with.
