Van Basco karaoke player

I've been using this on my pc with no problems for about a year now.

For some strange reason, it now refuses to play music, and just shows the
lyrics. All other sounds on my pc are fine. I've installed it on another pc
in my house with no problem, it just seems to be this one. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled with no result.

Can anyone help??

Hi, if you uninstall it how do you do it? do you use the uninstaller
that is included with the prog or use add/remove programs? whichever
way you do it, it might leave some entries in your registry. try
uninstalling it with both uninstallers, then run a registry checker
like System Mechanic, (from http://www.iolo.com) and then reinstall it.

Go to the 'note' logo on the top left hand corner of van Basco's Karaoke
player and select 'setup'
Under 'Player Configuration' select the down arrow on the 'Output Device'
window.
Chance the output device selected until one works.....

Worked for me when I had the same problem. I found this info under
'Help'............. ( wry grin)

Ummmm.... System Restore? My computer stopped showing the little speaker
down in the lower right corner for some unknown reason. I did a system
restore and now everything's fine.
