I've often wondered if I could get a job doing cartoon voices, as
I've long had an ability to do several different ones. I'd like to get
able to work from home and try to promote myself through www.voices.com
, but I have a couple of questions I'd like answered before I sign up
there and post any samples:
1. If someone wants to hire me to do voices for something, would I be
required to travel or could I work from home? It really isn't possible
for me to travel, especially since I'm a long distance from any major
US or Canadian cities (I'm in Atlantic Canada).
2. Has anyone else had success with this site? Is it possible to
actually land a decent job just by posting some samples on there?
Any advice would be appreciated.

why don't you just call up on the phone a voiceover agent and ask him
questions you have?
