help please

i have a cd&g player and thought i would copy some discs which i thought
were cd&gs too (on loan from a pub), the disks i received do have the
compact disk logo on them but dont play on my machine and it doesnt actually
say on them what format they are....only info is that they are made by
u-best and it says multi audio ...can anyone help ?
