Hello Karaoke fans!

I am new to this group and have a few questions that I would like to throw
out there. I have a home Karaoke system that plays CD+G format CD's. I am
looking to download songs from the net but I really don't know where to
look. I do have a Plextor CD writer so I know I can burn CD+G formats.

Question #1 Where do I go to find Karaoke files that I can download and
burn to CD to make CD+G CD's?

Question#2 I use a program called Oak SimpliCD to copy a CD+G disk to a
Disk. What would I use if I were downloading from the net?

Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Mark

Maybe I should be a little more direct in my questions. What Newsgroups or
websites have the formats that I need to download songs? How is it done?
Links anyone?

you need to look in the newsgroup alt.binaries.sounds.karaoke but before you
just go asking questions there you need to check out thier FAQ and usually
like once a week they will post a Karaoke Essentials.zip file that has
pretty much everything you will need.

Tou need cdrwin for burning cdg or there are several others that you could
use as you have a plextor burner those being dedicated karaoke programs such
as Dart cdg studio,Microstudio or Wincdg pro. There are many sites available
to download cdg files. Try downloading Mirc get online and join novernet
#karaoke realm.

Mark, you can check out the yahoo groups list Karaoke-traders. You'll
find what you need there.
