HELP needed CD+G software/programs

Please help
Need info on the type of program or software that can be downloaded
needed to my computer so that I can copy/burn
and eventually put all my CD+G's on a laptop and use for my
business...I am very simple with my computer skills, but do know
what I want to achieve and and am willing to spend the time to make it
happen. However it is very frustrating when you go to
Best Buy,Office Depot, etc. and they cannot assist you with
what you need, and they want to sell something !!
I await and appreciate all info and expertise regarding this topic.

Are you using a laptop to play your karaoke files. If so AudioGrabber
is a
program to rip your cds to your computer.... Their website is:

Once you've got your karaoke songs on your computer, take a look at
Debs Pro Karaoke Player to play your karaoke songs.

Software called Siglos by Doblon is excellent for playing on a PC/laptop

You need CD+G BURNER which rips and burns... also you need MP3+G Toolz to
zip them. THen you need to pick one of 4 programs. WINAMP with the add-on
does fine for personal use. Some KJ's use that anyway.

The others are SWIFT, Sax & Dotty's & Compuhost.

Swift is a CPU/memory hog and dottys is not so bad...and I understand that
Compuhost is the best.

All are available for free to try Most have 1 minute or 2 minute playing
time limited ont he demo.

Just a note: COMPUHOST includes a FREE ripper to turn CD+G's into useable
format.

also.. some people post these programs on alt.binaries.sounds.karaoke

You are on the WRONG group if you want this stuff.

Also... you can download thousands of ZIP karaoke for free. Ive gotten
about 24,000 tracks in the last 2 weeks.
Mostly sounc choice and Chartbusters.
