I can predict Jan 1st news.
I can predict the first 5 minutes, if not within
the first 60 seconds of the news...
I'll narrow it down,
I can predict the headlines
the first minute of Jan 1st, 2008.
In the headlines will be Israel trying to start some war.
Either starting the war themselves or trying to get the U.S.
to start a war for them.

So how does The DrudgeReport work? How does it makes it's money? How does the jpost.com manage to get top first column
placement 30 seconds at the very begining of the new year? Is it a pay-per-placement deal? How much does it cost, what
the going rate? Are most of those headlines on The DrudgeReport just paid links? Okay, so the jpost.com gets the first column
within 60 seconds of the new year, they must be the Tiffany of paid links...how much for a headline link in 2nd placement?
Is there a rate sheet? What other explanation is there for The Jeruselum Post to get a first column top position headline link
within 60 seconds of the begining of the new year? I'm certaintly ain't no fortune teller...or maybe I'm just delusional.

If I was to send an email to Matt Drudge and ask him,
"How much does it cost for a link in the first top left column within 30 seconds of the begining of the new year?"
What would his response be?
"I just want to be the first to have an influnce in world events. I wanna make the news...how much for the link? A million, 2 million?
3.5 million?" |

What I mean is, if Matt Drudge is going to charge for news links he should at least do the right thing
and do what Google does, have a notation that the news item is a Sponsered Link.
News is just a business, and The Jeruselum Post is in the business of selling wars...
